About Us

Dr Goldin has extensive soft tissue surgical experience, having honed his skills over the past 30 years.  He lectured Small Animal Surgery at the University of Pretoria in his birthplace of South Africa before emigrating to Melbourne in 2001.  He operates the Canine Anal Gland Clinic from his veterinary practice, Bayside Animal Medical Centre in Brighton.

Sharnika is our Head Nurse and leads the surgical nursing team at the Canine Anal Gland Clinic.  She has extensive post-graduate training and experience in Pain-Free procedures, anaesthetic safety, and uneventful post-operative recovery.  Your dog is in excellent hands.

Melissa is the Practice Manager and clinical co-ordinator at the Canine Anal Gland Clinic.  Surgical scheduling, communication and procedural systems and processes are her forte, and she keeps the team running smoothly and on schedule.
